Prof. Killion Munyama with his family visited City of Hope on 4th February,2014.
Prof. Munyama is originally from Zambia and is now an MP in the Polish Government.
They are visiting Zambia for a week and will call in again to visit us.

The New School building is COMPLETE!
The classrooms are in use for all the classes. The children are very happy to be in their new school.
The library was transferred from Auxilium Skills Centre to the new school which is very well equipped. We just need more simple reading books, DVD’s and other media for teaching in the adjoining room.Our donors from Germany and Sweden have donated the funds for the text books.
The Irish Embassy donated the chemicals and equipment for the science laboratory.
Desks have been provided by Swedish Caritas, the Ministry of Education and the Past Pupils from Italy have given funds to make the extra desks that are needed.
The Domestic Science room was sponsored by the Tre Magi from Bologna through VIDES International.
The outside kitchen, part of the cooking course was sponsored by Swedish Caritas..
Our Volunteer, Royd Ponya has updated all the old computers for Auxilium and is ready to set up the new Computer Laboratory in the new school. We are in the process of looking for funding for computers, UPS and the other accessories. Jan Windels will assist Royd.
On the 21 October, 2013, the First Lady, Dr. Kaseba Sata and the wife of the Polish Prime Minister, Mrs Malgorzata Tusk visited City of Hope.
Our feeding programme enables us to give food to the children. Every day one thousand one hundred people are fed at City of Hope. The Salesian Mission Office in the USA, through ‘Stop Hunger Now’ have provided soya rice that is very nourishing and enjoyed by all the children.
The Jesus Ministries from the USA have sent us a container with books and clothes. They will also help us with the Agriculture Project, so that will be able to utilize the land better and provide more food.
