City of Hope: Third Place in the Dance

Some of the pupils of City of Hope Open Community School School won the third place in a Dancing Contest in  Lusaka.   This will enable them to take part in the next phase in September.
They were outstanding in their performance and received much applause. They received the high points for the music, their costumes and pleasant expressions.
Congratulations to each of the participants and we wish you every success for next competition in Ndola.

We are very grateful for the help Misean Cara have given us in the past and also for their great contribution towards the first phase of the new school we are in the process of building.

World Cup 2010

OLE! OLE! OLE!

All the young people were excited this morning, 12 July, 2010. When the Sisters returned to City of Hope from Mass, we found that the children had written the word SPAIN all over the road. (They used water on the sand). Unfortunately, the children were all standing waiting for the morning Assembly otherwise they would have been in the photograph.

The impact that RED DEPORTE Y COOPERACION has made on City of Hope is great! Red Deporte means SPAIN for the young people! They are grateful for the wonderful Volunteers we have received and the sports fields you have already created, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You can greet the Spanish Football team from City of Hope!

Enjoy the Celebration. We celebrate with you in spirit and prayer.

God bless you all and VIVA SPAIN!
