Weekly Saturday Prayer Service
Each Saturday the City of Hope holds a prayer service to reflect on Sunday’s liturgy and to pray for the community and its benefactors.
A brief drama of this week’s gospel of Jesus and the Samaritan woman was performed so that everyone could see the word of God illustrated and identify a message to relate to.
Each Saturday’s liturgical service is done differently but all incorporate the Gospel, singing, discussion, and thought-provoking questions for reflection.

Beads for Sale!
While the City of Hope is always seeking innovative ways to raise funds and increase its self-sufficiency, the Auxilium Training Centre and Girls’ Home are already taking steps forward with their own production sales.
Aside from jewelry and baked goods, their latest initiative is handmade beads created from recycled magazines and leftover paper. Items are sold every other Saturday in the Arcades Shopping Centre and all proceeds go into the bank account for the girls living at the City of Hope. Keep your eyes open for updates!
