It was a great privilege for City of Hope to have the urn of our founder Saint John Bosco on July 22, 2012.
St. John Bosco was a priest in the 19th century, who, with Maria Domenica Mazzarello, founded the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, better known as the Salesian Sisters of Saint John Bosco. Bosco was an educator who worked with disadvantaged youth using love rather than punishment, a method known as the Salesian Preventative System, which we use each day at City of Hope.
The City of Hope prays to St. John Bosco for the intentions of all of our benefactors, pupils, past and present, all those who work with us, our volunteers and all the organizations that have helped us in so many ways. We pray for all the graces that each one needs.
